Hello MainEvent
Regarding the MB981U3-1SA and its chipset for IDE, unfortunately due to the age of the chipset in use, there is no update for it regarding usage of IDE drives in Windows 10. The only way to use IDE drives with Windows 10 using this product would be connecting to a USB 2.0 port on the computer. This USB 2.0 port must not support USB 3.0. How Windows 10 uses USB 3.0 ports prevents the usage of this product with IDE drives. If you are seeking to read data off the IDE drives, it is best to transfer the data out of the IDE drives to SATA drives using a computer that has a different operating system from Windows 10.
